Where does the money go?
We are a volunteer group. Virtually 100% of your donations will go directly to projects and events. We are committed to keeping our overhead at a minimum to ensure that the maximum portion of your donation is spent on projects. For example:
- $1 makes it possible for 3 downloads of our podcasts
- $1 buys a candle for the Candlelight Vigil
- $10 pays for the printing of 50 Vigil brochures
- $25 provides hosting of this website for one month
- $45 helps us deliver our e-newsletter to you each month
- $50 helps defray costs for each podcast interview
- $50 helps pay website maintenance for one month
- $50 helps pay website development for one month
- $70 delivers each Vigil Toolkit to a vigil host
- $250 allows us to grant the first-prize awards to the winners of our student competitions
- $1,000 helps us produce a Video Memorial for the Iraq Museum
